Mae young classic 2018 was a multi-day special event and tournament hosted by american professional wrestling promotion wwe. This was the second organized mae young classic tournament, where 32 participants signed up for participation specifically for girls from the division of the wwe nxt brand and wrestlers from independent circles. The tournament took place at the full sail institute in winter park, florida, was recorded on august 8-9 this year and streamed online by wwe from september 5 to october 4 (round 1, round 2, quarter-finals and semi-finals). The final match of the tournament was streamed online on the women's pay-per-learning show evolution, which took place on october 28 at the nassau veterans memorial coliseum in uniondale, new york.
